Best wishes to the one and only Johnsie Ryan, who retired last weekend from the pub
business after over 50 years of superb bar work all over Ireland and America. He had
a great policy of not keeping good drink but of selling it! Certainly not a fan of the
mobile phones behind the bar, a believer in keeping his customers entertained so that
they would not slip off elsewhere. Johnsie said a few times his main reason for being
in the bar business was because There's good olde profit in the drink
. He gave great
entertainment to his customers and was a great man for always telling the truth.
Enjoy your retirement and best wishes for the future is the wish of all your friends in
Cappawhite.
